Quotes Alta, I have some news for your site. Today I attended a senior beauty contest at my aunt Harriett Flanagan Kirkpatrick's nursing home, South Hampton Nursing Home in Owen's Cross Roads. Harriett is 96 years old and will be 97 in August and was born and raised in Paint Rock. Aunt Harriett won Miss South Hampton Nursing Home and the second runner up was also from Paint Rock. I don't know her first name but her maiden name was Maples and she married a Kennamer. I have photos but I don't know how to upload them to your site. Quotes

Quotes Alta, Thanks for this amazing website for all things Paint Rock. I just found it and have recommended it to my aunts, uncles, cousins etc who are all from Paint Rock. Some of us ladies were there last night for the Ladies Night Out dinner and had a great time. I attended the Paint Rock Reunion in 1983 and could not believe that you had the video on your site. It was like going back in time, seeing so many family and friends, so many of whom aren't with us any more. Thanks for all of the time that you have dedicated to this site for all of us to enjoy! We would like to thank the Mayor Mikey Counts and town council for letting us use the Heritage Center,Jason and Jacquelyn for the photos, Ronnie for getting Santa, James Ray for hanging the lights, Diane for helping oversee everything, Jackie and Janice for contacting Plant A Tree Nursery who donated our live Christmas tree.
